Key Responsibilities
- Create outstanding shader artwork that is consistent with the high quality Curiomatic is known for.
- Keep abreast of new trends and new technologies in the industry and how they could be applied to improve the output of the environment team in the future.
- Attend weekly meetings with the team to review progress and provide feedback.
Required Skills and Experience
- Mastery of Unity, Shader Graph and C#.
- Proficient in cutting-edge techniques and technology related to shader art and a desire to share your knowledge with the team.
- Able to proactively self-organize, self-motivate, and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Comfortable with both providing and receiving feedback to and from groups of junior artists, contractors, and Creative Director.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a love of stylized artwork/games.
- Is able to take and interpret direction and constructive criticism.
- Can work as part of a team and independently.
- Isn’t afraid to ask questions.
- Is able to effectively collaborate with game designers.
- Has a creative and passionate approach to solving problems.
Additional Information
- This position is remote.
- This is a part-time, contract position.
- Reports to Creative Director.
