Key Responsibilities

  • Create outstanding shader artwork that is consistent with the high quality Curiomatic is known for.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and new technologies in the industry and how they could be applied to improve the output of the environment team in the future.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the team to review progress and provide feedback.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Mastery of Unity, Shader Graph and C#.
  • Proficient in cutting-edge techniques and technology related to shader art and a desire to share your knowledge with the team.
  • Able to proactively self-organize, self-motivate, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Comfortable with both providing and receiving feedback to and from groups of junior artists, contractors, and Creative Director.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a love of stylized artwork/games.
  • Is able to take and interpret direction and constructive criticism.
  • Can work as part of a team and independently.
  • Isn’t afraid to ask questions.
  • Is able to effectively collaborate with game designers.
  • Has a creative and passionate approach to solving problems.

Additional Information

  • This position is remote.
  • This is a part-time, contract position.
  • Reports to Creative Director.
